A medium length ride along quiet country lanes and ideal for a family picnic.
05 Horsey – visiting Sea Palling, Hickling, Potter Heigham, Martham.
A longer ride utilising part of the National Cycle Network along the coast between Somerton and Sea Palling, taking in Horsey Mill.
06 Hickling – visiting Sutton.
A short ride along quiet country lanes, this ride is suitable for the whole family.
07 Stalham – visiting Ingham, Honing, Worstead.
A longer ride, with a variety of potential starting points, along quiet country lanes apart from the short section through Stalham
08 Hoveton – visiting Neatishead, Barton Turf, Horning
A pleasant ride along quiet country lanes starting from the cycle hire centre at Bewilderwood and passing through the picturesque Broads villages of Neatishead and Barton Turf
09 Horning – visiting Wroxham, Salhouse, Ranworth, South Walsham, Ludham.
A longer ride, mainly along quiet country lanes but with several short sections along busier roads.
10 Bungay – visiting Earsham, Ditchingham, Ellingham, Geldeston.
A short ride around Outney Common, with a spur to the Locks Inn at Geldeston.
11 Bungay – visiting Geldeston, Beccles, Barsham, Ilketshall St Andrew.
A good ride of 25 miles for a day outing.
12 Three River Loop – visiting Loddon, Reedham, Beccles, Geldeston.
You will see the three rivers Waveney, Yare and Chet as you go around this circuit.
13 Burgh St Peter Staithe – visiting Aldeby, Toft Monks, Wheatacre.
This is a short ride but has a number of points of interest and the option of a 1/2 hour walk to the river and around Aldeby Hall.
14 Burgh St Peter Staithe – visiting Aldeby, Raveningham, Thurlton, Haddiscoe.
This is a good half day ride with stunning views across the Hadiscoe,Thurlton and Burgh marshes as the river Waveney sweeps round in a big loop.
15 Yare Valley – visiting Strumpshaw, Cantley & Buckenham
A short ride in the Yare valley combined with a visit to the RSPB nature reserve at Strumpshaw.
16 Whitlingham – visiting Caistor St. Edmund, Framingham & Bramerton
Enjoy riding along the shore of the two new Broads away from traffic in Whitlingham Country Park plus the opportunity of exploring the Roman ruins at Caistor St. Edmunds.
